1st update:

I added an insert

The insert made it so it could capture the figure:

2nd update about a month later:

Sanded the points off the tips, so the figure had more room to get picked up.

You can see here below that the shoulders had more room now in the weapon:

The 3rd and final update that I made about a year later:

I flipped the handle, this give a better angle on the Weapon for when the bad guy is lifted up

It also makes it easier to grab with your hand to control it:
